The Ms. Senior
Arizona
Pageant
seeks to
emphasize
that true
beauty
is a matter
of insight
as well
as eyesight.
Ms. Senior
Arizona
must possess
the ability
to convey
to her
audience
those attributes
that she
has developed
that enable
her to
be wise,
reasonable,
elegant
and to
have continuing
enthusiasm
for life.
Each contestant
will give
a 35 second
statement
that exemplifies
her philosophy
of life.
Her remarks
should
embody
the characteristics
that she
believes
will lead
others
to success
in daily
living.
Her remarks
should
not make
any political
statement
or champion
any cause.
Her remarks
should
not be
religious
in nature
and should
be applicable
to all
ages and
demographics.
The philosophy
of life
is not
a biography
but rather
a deep
reflection
of attitudes.
Developing
a Philosophy
of Life
statement
is a soul
searching
endeavor.
Words of
wisdom
that might
entertain,
inspire,
encourage
or motivate
the audience
are what
the judges
will be
looking
for.
Should
not be
used
as a
political
platform.
References
to God
and religion
should
be minimized.
Brevity
is definitely
a virtue.
Think
in broad
terms,
not narrowly
focused.
Be
upbeat,
motivational,
honest
and perceptive.
Practice,
Practice,
Practice.
